6. Fruit Juice Beverages

Beware of packaged and processed fruit juices. Fruit juices are often perceived as a healthy choice of beverage and is easy to consume excessively. However, many processed juices contains high amounts of fructose and glucose and often times contains high fructose corn syrup which is deadly for gout sufferers. In many cases, the sugars contained in juices are comparable to those in soft drinks which is the number one contributor to obesity and ultimately gout.
